I was born and raised in Saint Charles, Illinois. I have been a dancer for 12 years deeply focusing on all types of dance from ballet to hip hop. I have a twin sister (Brianna) and a younger sister (Alyssa) who are my best friends. Back home, we have a calico cat named Cocoa that we rescued back in 2017 and love very much. I was raised observing how hard-working both of my parents are. They are truly my inspiration. From a young age, I was taught important values and life lessons that shaped me into who I am today. Without their continued love and support I wouldn't be here in San Diego, California today.
My Sophomore year of college I decided I wanted change in my life and I took it upon myself to do so. I got accepted into San Diego State University which was my dream school growing up. In Summer in 2021, I moved from Chicago to San Diego and it was definitely a significant change in my life. Leaving my family and being on opposite sides of the country was the hardest thing I have ever done but I have worked with how to adjust to this new independent lifestyle. I can confidently say it was the best decision I ever made. The endless opportunities I was offered while being a student at SDSU leaves me speechless. I found right away it was so important to get involved because not only did it allow me to make friends, but it also allowed me to develop and utilize my skills to find where my passions lie which is marketing!
This May 2024, I will be graduating with a B.S. Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing, and a minor in Dance from San Diego State University. It was a long journey to get to where I am today. My Freshman year I started as a nursing major at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and realized that marketing as well as California were calling my name. While attending SDSU, I was involved in so much including being a dancer through the school of music and dance, joining the American Marketing Association as social director, being an SDSU ZIP Launchpad marketing intern, joining the Business Careers in Entertainment Club, playing on the badminton intramural team, and becoming the Aztec Shops Chapultepec Hall Market team lead. All of these opportunities catered in my skill development, honing essential attributes like leadership, teamwork, and time management, all of which are vital for success. Overall, the combination of SDSU's stellar academic programs, vibrant campus life, and supportive community make SDSU an exceptional institution that leaves a lasting impact on its students.
